Goldsweeper

Game rules

This game is based on the popular Minesweeper, but there are some differences. Instead of mines, there are treasures, and instead of avoiding them, you will have to find them before your opponents.

The aim of the game is to find out the highest number of treasures or diamonds. There are 3 different objects, each one has a scoring:

  • Treasure Treasure: 1 point
  • Diamond Diamond: 2 points
  • Skull Skull: -1 point

The winner is the player who gets the highest scoring.

Game play

On his/her turn, each player has the opportunity to find out a square on the interface.

As on the minesweeper game, if a number appears, it indicates the number of objects that are around (on the 8 squares that surround it ). For example, an “8” indicates that there is an object on all adjacent squares.

example 1

The numbers with a circle also indicate there is a diamond or a skull nearby.

example 2

The game ends when...

  • The game is concluded and any other players can reach another one on the scoreboard.
  • There are not remaining treasures or diamonds, but there can be a skull yet.

Controls

Click on one of the squares with the left button of the mouse to find out what there is underneath.

Ranking for points

To take part in the leaderboard of this game, it is necessary to be registered and have chips enough to meet the bets.

To score points, the games have to be competitive (indicated by a boxing glove or swords). There is no scoring if 2 players at the table share the same IP.

The points scored depend on the position you reach when the game finishes according to the following table:

Score
2 players or in pairs 3 players 4 players
Winner 10 points 15 points 20 points
2nd position -5 points 0 points 5 points
3rd position -10 points 0 points
4th position -10 points

The players who leave a game, lose 20 points. In case of tie, the winner is the player who manages to reach that scoring.

For example, if two players tie with 26 points, the winner is the one who first reaches 26.
