We’ve been working on new features for the security of your account and we’d like to share them with you!
The first new feature is that now the official messages from Mundigames will always go to the “Mundigames” tab, you will see it in your message box. Plus, you will see that the moderators have the label “moderator” below their avatar.
All messages that do not reach that box are not ours. Therefore, never trust a message that claims to be a moderator but is NOT in the “Mundigames” tab.
Other ways to recognize an official moderator:
- They always write on the chat in blue.
- They come out with a “mod” or “moderator” tag next to their nick.
- They wear the official Mundigames cap on the AVATAR. Don't just look at the profile picture. Pay attention to the avatar as well.
Plus, we never request account information (email, password) via chat.
If you have any questions, remember you can always reach out to us through our official customer support channel *The safest way is to look for it on our official website, at the bottom of the page under “Customer Service”. Never trust links sent by suspected moderators.
The second new feature is that the options to change and check email are now available again and you can also change your password for a more secure one. We encourage you to do it!
It is very important that you have a valid email associated with your account and that you validate it. That way, your account will be more secure and you can get our important messages. If you haven't already done it, we recommend that you do so. When you verify your email , you should see the message “This email has been verified as yours.”
To change your email and password, go to your account settings (it appears in the little arrow at the top, next to your avatar) and select the option you want. Or retrieve it here, if you already have a valid email associated with your account.
But first, pay special attention to these tips!
1. Your password must be confidential!
- Don’t share it (not even with partners, friends and family).
- Never trust anyone who asks you for your password. Our moderators will never request it or send links asking for it.
2. Use a password that is hard to guess.
- Don’t use obvious passwords, such as, your username or your real name, or words related to you that are easy to guess.
- You can also match letters and numbers. The more complex, the better. That said, you'll have to remember it later! :)
We hope that these changes help you play more comfortably and safely.
